require minimal browser capabilities but, at the same time, to take advantage of more
sophisticated browser capabalitites when available.
Below are the minimum browser capabilities required to browse an
Object Web site.
- Frames -- The main page of an object web site
(typically default.htm or index.htm) is
actually a frame set that defines the overall layout of the web. Object Web sites
require frame support and are not compatible with very old browsers that lack frame
feature disabled are not compatible with Object Webs.
